Update as of July 13: The owner of Wolfee Donuts has decided not to press charges against Grande, according to a statement from the Riverside County Sheriff's Department. Original story starts here: Ariana Grande might have a big problem on her hands. Us Weekly reports that police and Environmental Health officials are investigating the singer's unhygienic visit to Wolfee Donuts in California. Security footage obtained by TMZ showed the pop star licking donuts on the shop's counter, which were reportedly sold to other customers. Grande is also being accused of spitting on a tray of donuts. "She spit on one of them, and she dared that guy she was seeing and he spit on it, too," store owner Joe Marin told the magazine. The matter is now under investigation because of the fact that the donuts were left uncovered and vulnerable to the bodily fluids of ill-tempered pop stars. "During the investigation, the manager did state they normally don't leave donuts out like was shown in the video," Dottie Ellis-Merki, a spokeswoman for the Riverside County Department of Environmental Health, said in an email to the AP. "The employee went to the back to retrieve freshly made donuts by request of the customer [Grande] and left the trays out while getting other trays." Yesterday Grande apologized for her behavior in the video, which included proclaiming that she "hates Americans." No more bear claws for you, hon.
