At 17 years old, Kylie, the youngest of the
Kardashian/Jenner clan, has certainly made her mark on popular culture with her
famously plumped lips and oft-rainbow-colored hair (not to mention her sweet support of father, Bruce Jenner), and now, she’s quite literally making her
mark somewhere else: On boyfriend Tyga’s right arm.
The 25-year-old rapper, who first publicly acknowledged his love affair with Kylie in a March Instagram after months of claiming
to be “just friends,” was spotted with some brand-new ink on the inside of his
right elbow: “Kylie,” written in large, cursive-style black letters. And, before
you start wondering if the tattoo is indeed real, take a look at this selfie
posted by Tyga himself on Friday — the tops of the tattoo’s “K” and “L” can be
clearly seen in the bottom left of the picture.
According to TMZ,
“it's no coincidence he got the ink the day after
his baby mama, Blac Chyna put him on Insta-blast,” posting pictures of alleged text messages she
received from the rapper asking to “be a family again”; Tyga got the tattoo “to
prove to Kylie he is fully committed to her and no one else.”
Because, nothing says
long-lasting love like needles and scar tissue. Just ask sister Khloe, whose his-and-hers tattoos with Lamar Odom have unfortunately outlasted the marriage. Or Katy
Perry, who got matching Sanskrit tattoos reading “Anuugacchati Pravaha” (meaning “go with the flow”)
with then-husband Russell Brand in 2010. And of course, who can forget Johnny Depp’s infamous “Winona Forever” tattoo…changed once and for all to read “Wino
Forever” after his dramatic split from early-'90s girlfriend Winona Ryder.
But, you never know: They could always go the way of happily married
(and happily inked) couple Brian Austin Green and Megan Fox.
