Sia clearly has a mantra when it comes to music videos: If it ain't broke, don't fix it. And, if you can get away with never showing your face ever again, all the better.
As such, the Australian singer/songwriter has once again tapped mini-doppelgänger Maddie Ziegler and her platinum bob wig for the just-released video of "Big Girls Cry." (Apparently Fergie and The Four Seasons were lying to you.)
This time, Shia LaBeouf is out of the picture so that 12-year-old Ziegler can show off her impressive range of expressions and ability to demonstrate every neurotic tic possible. There's an uncomfortable moment when the preteen is choked from behind by a pair of grown-up hands, which lift her up until we only see her feet precariously swinging. Ziegler manages to break free, but watching a young girl simulate a hanging isn't exactly our idea of entertainment.
Watch the video below for Sia's haunting vocals and Ziegler's expressive dance moves.
