It is utterly impossible for the Oscars cameras to capture every moment. Luckily, our favorite celebrities liberally use social media to bring us behind the scenes. Some tease their dresses, others their dates. Gwyneth Paltrow even thanks her army, but doesn't show the troops. (Perhaps, they're actually ghosts that spring from the organic earth to prep her before returning to the soil.)

Anyway, Instagram has become our second eye into the world of awards shows. It's the show-within-the-show — the big brother, if you will. The 'Grams spark bouts of FOMO, but the good kind. (Watching these shows in our sweats trumps spending hours in heels.)
