Kate Bosworth Just Cut 10 Inches Off Her Hair

Kate Bosworth, she of perfectly coordinated ensembles, Blue Crush, dual-colored eyes, and gorgeous blonde hair fame, has joined the bob club. But, her longtime friend and hairstylist Harry Josh cautions, don't you dare say she's jumping on a trend. "Even though bobs are big right now, Kate's focus is on her craft. She has a few great upcoming roles, so as much as she was attached to her longer hair, she knew that cutting it would be best," he explains.

So, Josh snipped away 10 inches of her locks, while she was visiting his home in New York City. (FYI, supermodel Helena Christensen was also present because they were all having dinner together, as fabulous and beautiful people do.)

Naturally, Kate is exquisite with both long and short hair. But, change is good! And, we're excited to see what she's got coming down the pipeline that demanded such a dramatic chop.

P.S. For that tousled texture, Josh misted John Frieda Beach Blonde Sea Waves Sea Salt Spray all over towel-dried hair, and then dried it with a diffuser and his fingers. He added a little bit of polish where needed and smoothed out the top with a flat iron.
