The Golden Globes are like the slightly kookier little sister of the Oscars. Unlike the more staid Academy Awards, the booze flows freely, and the laidback dinner party vibe means you never really can tell what might happen during the broadcast. It's as if the whole thing was concocted just so we could make GIFs of celebs acting like weirdos!
As for the movies and TV shows themselves, well, some of the choices have been a bit odd over the years. (Hello, The Tourist?) However, there's still plenty to love, and luckily for you, tons of them are available to watch online right now. We sifted through the history of the Globes to find the most delectable nominees and winners, and cross-referenced our Netflix/Amazon Prime almanac, and came up with this list of great stuff you can watch without even leaving your couch. Now, that is entertainment.
