Long before the Palace of Versailles became the extravagant venue of Kimye's wedding rehearsal dinner, it was the home of some actual blue-blooded royals. In the new trailer for the period romance, A Little Chaos, we get a peek into what life was like in the court of France's King Louis XIV, as seen through the eyes of Sabine, a headstrong landscape designer, played here by Kate Winslet.
When she's chosen to design one of the king's central gardens, Sabine challenges what it means to be a woman in a male-dominated world. And, what would a romance be without, uh, romance? Here, the object of her affection is a renowned landscape architect played by Rust and Bone's Matthias Schoenaerts.

A Little Chaos marks the first time we've seen Winslet in a corset since 2004's Finding Neverland. Other than maybe Keira Knightley, no other actress pulls off the costume dramas quite like Winslet. With Alan Rickman behind the camera —he also plays King Louis XIV —this film will have fans of the period genre coming out in droves (despite the mixed reviews it received at the Toronto premiere this past September).
