Alexa Chung Cut Off Her Hair

If there's one thing you can say about Alexa Chung's beauty routine, it's that her eyeliner hacks are second only to her enviable mane. It's true — type "Alexa Chung" into Pinterest's search bar, and the first auto-fill result is "hair." Well, the hopeful It Girls of the world will have a lot to pin this morning: Alexa has chopped off her notorious locks.
This isn't a drastic change for the English model — hers was an early example of how chic the shaggy bob can be. She's sported the short crop a couple of times (most recently in 2011) before growing it out into the shoulder-grazing style we've all come to know and love.

But, this is the first time in a while we've seen Alexa with short hair. What's more is that she also seems to have said ta-ta to her lived-in ombré: Her strands appear slightly red-toned — another departure from her oft-copied style.
You can totally argue that Alexa's hair helped launch the love of the lob and the adoration of bedhead. And, that beach texture remains intact with her new crop. So, could she be cluing us in to the go-to cut and color of 2015? Time will tell. But, we do know one thing: Regardless of what anyone else says, we're calling this a bob. No punny variations on that name. Period.
