If you haven't started designing your annual holiday card yet, you've got some serious work to do. That's because Ellen DeGeneres just unveiled the new contender for her seasonal greeting at her show — and it's pitch perfect.
Ellen's latest creation shows her and wife Portia De Rossi spoofing that Kim Kardashian cover shot you may or may not have heard of. "Here’s the second one we’ve come up with," she told her delighted Ellen audience on Monday. "It says, ‘Happy Holidays...And a Shiny New Year.’”
Hmm, suddenly that Game of Thrones-inspired card we dreamt up doesn't feel so funny. Does anybody want a free Khaleesi wig?
But, we can't be mad at Ellen for once again changing the holiday card game. If anything, we should be thanking her for forcing us to step up our own game. Thank you, Ellen, for always making us better.
Now, back to the drawing board.
