Relationships are all about give and take. One person takes out the garbage. The other washes dishes. True romance isn't all candlelit dinners and rose petals on the bed. Sometimes, it's helping your partner make the ultimate sacrifice. Specifically, parting with his butt hair because it's going to appear in a major motion picture. Such is the depth of Kristen Bell's commitment to her husband, Dax Shepard.
For years, we wondered what the appeal of Dax Shepard was. Then, we watched Parenthood, listened to him on WTF, and saw the Samsung commercial in which he and Kristen star. When you do all that, it becomes evidently clear that Dax Shepard is not at all deserving of any haterade. He really is a nice, funny guy.

Shepard is also aware of the fact that people constantly doubt him and wonder how he managed to marry Kristen Bell. His self-deprecation is pretty charming, as evidenced by this clip from last night's Conan. In it, Shepard tells the story of preparing for his nude scene in This Is Where I Leave You. Somehow, he managed to turn what sounds like a less-than-romantic moment (shaving what Andy Richter calls his "forest in the valley") into a hilarious, sweet bonding experience with his wife.
Go ahead and watch; you'll see what we mean. This is the most charming story about butt hair removal that's ever been told.
