Christina Hendricks Channels Mad Men To Fight Unfair Wages

Since the gender-wage gap (unfortunately) still exists, Christina Hendricks is going to live like she's in Mad Men. After all, if modern offices aren't going to operate in a way that values all employees equally, we may as well act as if we still live in the Swinging Sixties.
This new Funny or Die PSA riffs on that theme. It also hilariously — albeit sadly — gets the point across all too well. Hendricks arrives for work and proceeds to operate with the same level of knowledge and skill that her Mad Men character would have. She smokes, drinks, and has no idea how to fax something. Then again, neither does the employee she asks for help. When it comes to faxing, we're all a little lost.
The PSA brings levity to some pretty grim statistics. "In the U.S., women make 23% less than their male counterparts," Hendricks informs her coworkers. "Did you know that almost 70% of the minimum-wage workforce is female, but only 15% of our Fortune 500 CEO's are...So, I figure if we're going to run our businesses like it's the 1960s, I'm going to act like it." (Funny or Die)
