Neymar Sends Emotional Message To Fans Following World Cup Injury

Even if you haven't kept up with every detail of the World Cup, you've probably heard about Neymar's critical injury from Friday's match against Colombia. The Brazilian forward suffered a fractured vertebra after a challenge by Colombian defender Juan Zuniga. Now, Neymar — arguably the fan favorite of the team — will miss the remainder of the World Cup.
In an emotional interview, the footballer spoke to his fans and teammates. "My dream was also to play in a World Cup final, but this time it didn't work out. But God willing, they're going to win this, they're going to be champions, and I'm going to be by their side, with them. And all us Brazilians are going to be celebrating," he says in the video. He ends the recording by sending "big hugs" to all those who have wished him well.
Check out the full message below. For anyone who was wondering who to root for now that the USA is out, it's nearly impossible to ignore the underdog charm of Neymar's team. (Bleacher Report)
