Watch: Jimmy Kimmel’s Mean Tweets, The NBA Edition

The San Antonio Spurs capped off another thrilling NBA season last night when the team dashed LeBron James and the Miami Heat's chance at a three-peat, with a decisive game-five victory. To commemorate the end of hoops and the Spurs' fifth championship, ABC aired a Jimmy Kimmel prime-time special that featured the latest edition of his ultra-popular "Mean Tweets" segment. Usually Kimmel has his celebrity pals recite the brutal insults from Twitter trolls, but yesterday it was a cavalcade of the NBA's biggest stars who had the dishonor of reading the ugly missives.
While superstars like James, Kevin Durant, and Kobe Bryant were noticeably absent from the bit, Kimmel did manage to wrangle up some familiar faces. Kim Kardashian's ex-husband Kris Humphries proved that he still has a sense of humor, when he read the tweet ""@KrisHumphries **** YOU! You're so pathetic! Seriously kill yourself please. XX." Former phenom Jeremy Lin also got in on the fun, and even had a witty comeback at the ready. "Jermy Lin need to git the weight room," the tweet read. "You need to get spell check," the bemused Harvard grad shot back. Other ballers featured included Dwight Howard, Stephen Curry, Paul George, and Chris Paul.
