Thin is in, if these alleged iPhone 6 dummies are to be believed.
French tech news site Nowhere Else posted images sourced from a Chinese forum that depict what it describes as plastic models of an upcoming iPhone 6, which might have been constructed for third-party accessory developers. The dummies are much thinner than current models, and look like they could house the 4.7-inch screen long-rumored to appear in future iPhones, though specific dimensions weren't released.
While the provenance of the images is suspect, they do closely resemble some renders — also unconfirmed — that were leaked last week. As 9-to-5Mac points out, the Ukrainian website that originally posted the renders has at least some credibility, and Business Insider notes that the Chinese forum has also served as a source for accurate leaks in the past.
Apple Insider, however, calls the dummies "highly suspect," pointing to the protruding rear camera and absence of the dual True Tone flash found on current iPhone models.
