Adidas Teams With Pharrell (& His Very Large Hat)

Celebrity collaborations can be hit or miss. Often times, a major influencer will join forces with a label for a one- or two-piece collection that sells out in minutes. And, sometimes the sold-out product doesn't deserve the hype. But, Pharrell Williams' new partnership is totally different. In fact, we can add a whole new line to the multitalented artist's long résumé, as he officially announced he's teaming up with adidas.

We're not talking about a one-off range, either. Williams has signed on for a long-term partnership with the iconic activewear brand. And, as adidas mentions in its press release, this celeb brings something to the table that many others don't have: his own textile company. Williams is the creative director of Bionic Yarn, a sustainable line of thread created from recycled materials. And, together, Pharrell and adidas will incorporate the eco-friendly materials into some of the new designs.
