You can't feed Jared Leto, Harrison Ford, and Julia Roberts pizza and leave without a tip. Unfortunately, Edgar of the Big Mama's & Papa's Pizzeria somehow got stiffed when he dropped by the Oscars armed with several pies for hungry Hollywooders. Being the gracious host that she is, Ellen DeGeneres had to set things right.
The world's most famous pizza boy was invited to appear on Ellen yesterday, where he finally received his tip. After doing a whip-round with Pharrell's Mountie hat, DeGeneres managed to collect $600 for Edgar, adding another $400 from her own pocket for an even grand. It's mighty generous, but we do have two questions. First, what happened to the Lupita Nyong'o lip gloss that went in the kitty on Oscars night? Secondly, why not just give the guy Pharrell's hat and let him auction it off? He could open a new location with that kind of money.
Of course, some things are worth more than money. After hearing Moscow-born Edgar gush about feeding Julia Roberts ("she was my woman in dreams"), we reckon the experience was pretty priceless. But, did he get her number?
