From her ruby-red caped Ralph Lauren number at the Golden Globes to the emerald green Christian Dior gown she rocked at the Baftas, the Best Supporting Actress nominee has been sporting more rainbow hues than a Gay Pride parade. The photo above pretty much says it all, doesn't it?
There are striking metallics; neutrals in black, white, nude, and gray; shocks of pink and orange; intense neon yellow; and a lot of bold and beautiful greens and blues. Clearly, this budding style icon doesn't play favorites when it comes to color. The brighter, the better.
Naturally, we're expecting to see a major rainbow explosion on the Oscars red carpet. We trust that Nyong'o will look gorgeous in whatever she chooses to wear, but if she turns up in a little black dress, there's gonna be a riot. Let's give this party a pop of Pantone, lady! (MTV Style)
