Rita Ora traded BFF Donna Karan for Jeremy Scott, and the world is still turning. The singer-slash-sartorial darling continued her climb up the fashion ladder this week by way of the runway. She of bottle blonde fame kicked off Scott's debut Moschino collection by strutting down the bright catwalk. Katy Perry, Illuminati princess, did the same.

Though the show started 45 minutes late (Ora & Perry are presumably to blame), Scott's first line as Moschino's creative director didn't disappoint. Well, depending on how you view Jeremy Scott as a designer, that is. McDonald's, SpongeBob Square Pants, and a dress resembling a glamorous Hershey's chocolate wrapper all walked down the runway. Chanel-inspired quilting and tweed added to Scott's already drama-filled balancing act of appropriation versus inspiration. Then, there's the whole Versace-like S&M theme that, if this was any other designer, would be touted as a blatant ripoff with the Moschino logo. But, this isn't to say the show wasn't entertaining. It was, and Ora and Perry were quick to Tweet their praise. Both ladies looked stunning, and the bold prints of the designs were sweet (pun intended). (Daily Mail)
