Anyone who's seen Almost Famous — or has an eccentric aunt with vague stories from her time as a "roadie" in the '70s knows there is a secret life of the groupies community. And, until now, that life has been largely left untold. Thankfully, one Reddit user started a thread to find out the dirty deets behind this subculture. The thread begins, "Obviously I'm not asking for names of rock stars, but I was thinking that if we hear stories about how many hundreds and even thousands of women these rock stars had sex with, then there have to be some with a story or two." Turns out, a story or two is the understatement of the year. Unsurprisingly, Hootie and the Blowfish's Darius Rucker was a total gentleman, and Derek Jeter is his own biggest fan. Are these stories true? Probably not all of them. But, it's still a highly entertaining read. Though it was rather difficult, we've picked out our top six contributions — because you try picking just five.
