Alexa Chung has one of the most enviable and chic beauty looks around — that rosy flush, that flick of eyeliner, and that never-overstyled hair ensure that Chung always looks casually, yet perfectly gorgeous. So, of course, when Byrdie cornered the star to scoop how she really gets that pretty, we were all ears.
Refreshingly, Chung's effortless-looking style is actually pretty low maintenance. First of all, she commits skin-sin numero uno and doesn't wash her face at night. That's right, she crashes with an entire face of makeup on the regular. She swears by drugstore shampoo and conditioner — specifically, L'Oréal's EverPure line. But, in between washes, she simply relies on copious amounts of dry shampoo to keep the greasies away. And, rather than sporting the latest nail shade, Chung skips the whole mani thing altogether and simply has her nails buffed for extra shine. Well, when she's not sporting leather ones, that is.
