Sure, your cat is cute and fluffy and loves to cuddle, but can she talk? In French? Your cat's obviously not as skilled as Karl Lagerfeld's prized kitty, Choupette. The designer recently created an entire accessories line inspired by his furry love. The Choupette capsule collection includes knit hats, leather gloves, bags, and phone and tech cases — done up in a black-and-white cat motif — that range from $61 to $465. It will be available in Lagerfeld stores around the world starting November 12, and to promote it, he and the glamorous Persian spoke with the French site Gala about their love affair.

Choupette came to Lagerfeld by way of model Baptiste Giabiconi, and from the sound of it, Choupette still isn't over the abandonment. "I was only 3 months old when [Gianbiconi] asked Karl to take care of me for 15 days. You know what happened then…Anyway, Giabiconi was not organized enough to have a cat." Meow.
But, it all worked out, because now Choupette is the apple of Karl's eye. She's got two maids, her own — very popular — Twitter account, and the adoration of one of the world's top designers. "I am never alone," she said. "I can count on my maids Françoise and Marjorie. From the first day, they took care of me with a lot of love and complete devotion. I am cherished, cared for, pampered, and brushed like a princess!"
“[Karl] and me, it’s forever,” said Choupette. “We leave the bourgeoisie formalities to the others.”
Is it possible to be jealous of cat? Apparently. (Fashionista)
