We love color, we love a smoky eye, and we love mixing things up — so it's not surprising that we're way into Clinique's clever new take on a classic look. Makeup artist Jenna Menard came up with this "inverted smoky eye," creating a modern (and, might we add, stunning) look with blue shadows. By switching the placement of shadow and focusing the color near the inner corner of the lid, she's making us question everything we thought we knew about the smoky eye. And, after watching Menard work her magic in this video, we're feeling pret-ty inspired to start wearing more blue makeup. Don't be surprised if you are, too.
