While most Americans are counting down to a red, white, and blue-filled holiday, we can barely contain our excitement for July 3 — and for good reason. First, the tokidoki x Karl Lagerfeld capsule collection launches tomorrow on Net-A-Porter. The collab includes T-shirts, iPhone cases, pants, bags, and scarves covered with Lagerfeld’s cartoon likeness, camp-meets-chic style. Second, an accompanying animation featuring the adventures of Karl Lagerfeld and his beloved cat Choupette will also be up on NET-A-PORTER and the designer’s YouTube channel (check out the tease above). Watch out Batman, there’s a new superhero in town!
What’s more, tokidoki created a limited-edition figurine dubbed "Mr. Choupette," showcasing Lagerfeld cradling his white feline. The wait is a bit longer for this gem, though — it’ll be available for $200 from the L.A.-based brand, starting July 12. We’ll try to be patient!
