Leave it to Barneys to blow the Oscar competition right out of the water this awards season. Though the NYC-based department store calls Wilshire Boulevard home, the retailer is relocating for a hot minute to one of L.A.'s buzziest spots, the Beverly Hills Hotel. Deemed the Barneys Bungalow, it's only fitting that the temporary boutique would set up shop in the landmark lodging for the days leading up to Tinseltown's biggest night.
If you've been following along on Pinterest, Barneys' style inspiration du jour includes all things Old Hollywood — think snaps of Audrey and Marilyn lounging at the iconic hotel, and Manolo Blahniks that would be quite welcome in the famous Polo Lounge. The outpost itself includes gowns, sharp tuxedoes, jewels, shoes, underpinnings, accessories, and an on-site makeup artist for pre-fête primping. Essentially, everything an L.A. lady (or gent!) could possibly need, whether or not a gold statue is in your near future.

And, as if the BB wasn't enough, the shop is hooking up one haute Angeleno with a $2,500 shopping spree. Just swing by the Beverly Hills flagship on Wilshire and tweet your picture from Vanity Fair's temporary photo booth for a chance to win. If there was an award for best pre-Oscars swag, we think Barneys would win by a landslide!
