“I have suffered a lot for fashion,” says German starlet Diane Kruger. Apparently, Kruger is no stranger to red-carpet woes. At last May's Cannes Film Festival, she found herself in a not-so-glamorous pickle.
Kruger wore a voluminous Dior hoop dress, which, according to the German actress, took an hour for her to slide into. “Once I finished dinner, I had to go to the bathroom, and it became so tight that I couldn’t breathe anymore.”
Thankfully, her boyfriend of five years, Joshua Jackson, was there to lend a hand. “Josh had to come with me to the lady’s room and cut me out of it,” Kruger reveals. “He literally had to help me remove the dress to help me go to the bathroom. It was crazy!”

Talk about commitment. “That’s real love, isn’t it, to have someone like him help me in the weirdest situations. He’s great and he’s like my hero,” Kruger gushed. We’re glad that she was able to relieve herself and solidify her relationship with Jackson; however, we just hope that a vintage Dior gown wasn’t ruined in the process! Ah, priorities...when it comes to choosing between going pee and going couture, well, we're just not sure. (People)
