British Invasion: Sick Snaps From Mulberry’s Soho House Soiree

We wouldn't have blamed you if you thought you had the wrong address if you stopped by Soho House on Tuesday night. The UK member's club's rooftop terrace was transformed into a chic rooftop garden party by British brand Mulberry to celebrated its spring '11 collection. Keeping in line with designer Emma Hill's "Secret Garden" inspiration, giant pink roses popped up all over the place and large, mod, white-lily pads covered the pool, almost begging to be walked across (we didn't!). Coupled with the sound of British accents coming from just about every mouth, we couldn't help feeling like we'd stepped out of the elevator and right into Vogue UK. It-Brits and their cross-Atlantic brethren commingled admirably—Alexa Chung, Caroline Murphy, Dree Hemingway, Jade Jagger, and Kelly Osbourne sipped Mulberry bellinis and noshed on mini burgers, fish and chips (natch!) and veggie quiches. Our favorite, however—the chocolate and Guinness cupcakes! DJ Dan Williams kept everyone dancing until Florence Welch of Florence and the Machine took the stage for an acoustic show that occurred so close to us that we were actually sharing sweat with the heavenly songstress. Don't worry, we've showered since then.
