Could It Be True? Apple To Release An iPhone-Like Watch!

main
Okay, when was the last time you actually strapped on a watch for functional — not fashion-related — purposes? Yeah, these days, one glance at our iPhones and we can tell the time across a seemingly infinite amount of time zones and, subsequently, the necessity for analog devices creeps closer to obsolete. Ah, the joys of modern technology.

Well, hot off the heels of whispers of a new iPhone, it looks like Apple is about to flip the script and bring back the wristwatch in a major way. According to
The New York Times,
rumors are swirling that the Bay Area-based company has plans to debut a high-tech watch with iPhone-like capabilities. We don’t know much about the smart-watch endeavor, aside from the fact that this contraption will be made of curved glass and will operate on the iOS platform.

All this info comes from unnamed sources familiar with Apple’s venture in this arena, but no one from the company has confirmed it yet. While we are definitely intrigued, we are also slightly frightened of the idea of downgrading screen size and having glass plastered on our wrists — can you say accident waiting to happen? We guess we'll just have to wait and see the next steps — but there's no doubt this will take arm parties to the next level.
