Brides love a good deal when they're trying to cut costs for their wedding day. As such, Marchesa has teamed up with the St. Regis resort group to present an offer you can't refuse: Buy a dress, get a free hotel room for the night. The catch? Said dress costs between $25,000 and $50,000. The New York Post reports that the offer is part of a collaboration between the luxury fashion label — Blake Lively wore one of their creations on her wedding day — and the hotel group. Designers Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig took inspiration from St. Regis properties. The four dresses are: the "New York," which features a chic peplum waist; the beaded "Mumbai" dress; the "Dubai," which offers coverage via three-quarter lace sleeves; and the off-the-shoulder, floral embellished "Punta Mita."
"The collection's bespoke detailing captures the nuances of each of the destinations, as well as the spirit of a St. Regis bride," Daphne Sipos, the global brand director for St. Regis Hotels & Resorts, told the Post's Alexa fashion supplement. "She's a woman who is effortlessly elegant, confident, and timeless." And, rich. Then again, that hefty price tag includes a complimentary night's stay at the St. Regis New York, a personal fitting with Chapman and Craig, and a Marchesa dressing gown. Only brides planning their weddings at a St. Regis property are eligible for the deal. Is it time to get your wedding planner — and your bank's loan manager — on the phone? (NY Post Alexa)
