A couple's first Valentine's Day can always be a bit daunting. How romantic are you supposed to get? Are chocolates lame? Is it cheesy to even participate in the Hallmark holiday? (No.) Sarah Hyland and her new beau, Dominic Sherwood, turned the day into an event when they and a few friends ventured to Disneyland.

Hyland kicked the day off by telling her Twitter followers to "stuff your face with chocolate, smell pretty flowers and hold your loved ones tighter!" She and Sherwood gallivanted around the Happiest Place on Earth, snapping pics around the park and, uh, flying down rides. "Remember Valentine's Day isn't about being in a relationship," she shared with her followers, "it's about celebrating love."

Celebrate they did: According to her Twitter, they all ended the day with fireworks. Huh, they say romance like that only exists in the movies. (E!)
