Though only a few musicians have come out to blast the rapper for nearly imitating his 2009 VMAs "Imma let you finish" antic, more have come to his defense.  "I thought it was funny," John Legend told Us Weekly. "I looked at it as just a funny thing that people were going to talk about." West, if you don't remember, approached the stage after Beck's Morning Phase beat out Beyoncé's industry-changing self-titled album for the Album of the Year Grammy. He swiftly turned around and let Beck accept his award. After the show, however, West ranted to E! that "Beck needs to respect artistry and he should have given his award to Beyoncé." Even Beck admitted he was surprised he won over the Queen. Legend, meanwhile, dismissed his friend's actions as something that "didn't hurt anybody" and called it a "funny" thing people would talk about. "Beck won his award fair and square," he said. "I think people were surprised that he won but that doesn't mean he's not deserving, that just means people thought other people were going to win too."  (Us Weekly)
