Pop A Wheelie! Public Bikes Is Now Serving FREE Saint Frank Coffee

main

In San Francisco, bike riding and coffee sipping should practically be embedded in our pledge of allegiance to this city. In fact, we’re so jazzed from the caffeine and wheel-spinning endorphins that we’re hyped up enough to do backflips about the two acts coming together in the ultimate collaboration. Brand-spankin’-new coffee venture Saint Frank has set up its brewing station (complete with espresso machine) at South Park’s Public Bikes, and it’s pouring the cups of Joe for nada!
Outside the brick-laden shop, Saint Frank has built an oversized wooden crate on the porch, where the baristas churn out everything from macchiatos to lattes without asking for a cent in return. Did you hear that? Free coffee!

The new java crusade is brought to us by an ex-Ritual roaster, Kevin Bohlin, who is awaiting city approval in order to open up a brick and mortar space on Polk Street. Until then, he and his crew will be serving up the beans through the rest of summer and possibly early fall.
Bonus: If you don’t want to hop off your set of wheels to catch your morning buzz, Saint Frank is considering fixing up a “bike through” lane. That’s something to ring our bike bells about!
