There are some things in this world that simply don't die. Cockroaches and Uggs, for instance. Having done everything short of a collaboration with Crocs, Ugg has trampled all over the name of chic women's footwear since their creation and still manage to appeal to the masses. Well, get ready for a test-run on the male population. Ugg Australia has signed New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady for their global men's campaign, and they'll keep him around to do future product consultation as well. Men around the world can look forward to the moment they'll step into the most joked about shoe on the market--but then again, who knows! Maybe Tom will infuse some classic cool into the line and we'll be pleasantly surprised. Or, maybe we'll just get to make a lot of football jokes. (WWD)
