Feel free to finally pack away your dancing shoes. As 2012 quickly comes to an end, so does the color craze known as Tangerine Tango. Next up? A less shocking, more jewel-tone hue that's just as bold. Say hello to Pantone's 2013 Color of the Year, Emerald Green.
Shifting over to a cooler color, Pantone states that its latest selection symbolizes "renewal and prosperity," promotes healing, and, as a shade of green, is often associated with nature and rejuvenation. And, following in the path of its predecessor, expect much of next year's market to reflect this must-know, must-wear, can't-get-enough-of color — we're talking everything, from your closet to your makeup bag to your studio-apartment walls.
