Yesterday, we twittered the Y-3 show from the benches of Pier 40, in which we captured Yohji Yamamoto's adorable parade of tots as they showed off Y3's new children's line. Obviously, seeing little legs and feet modeling little shirts and hats makes us coo and aah in delight, especially if Yohji himself (adorable man!) takes a spin with them around the runway, holding their little fingers. But Yohji's offerings for grown-up men and women by no means took a back seat at this intimate (we say intimate because the Y-3 guest list got majorly cut, despite the massive stadium) affair. A series of bandleader-like jackets for women were Rag & Bone with a sporty twist, while some cool sweaters and jackets for men made us long to dress our man in Y-3… well, minus the baggy pants, any way. Not exactly Yohji's namesake line and not exactly something the soccer players on the field outside would wear, but give him a couple more seasons and he'll be name-dropped by Kanye (who, because he's been stalking us all day obviously, was happily present).
