Emilio de la Morena's Sculpturific Designs Get Gray-Scaled and Dramatic In Mykromag

CyanaTrendLand just turned us on to Mykromag, an online magazine shot in black and white. Why does everything always take on such a more dramatic flair in grayscale, as if you've taken something out of our dull contemporary lives and plunged it into a sexy '50s film noir? Regardless, up-and-coming designer Emilio de la Morena's fall '09 collection, which is actually quite bright and colorful, gets an extra dose of cinematic flair under Paul Scala's lens. Maybe it's just the New Yorker in us, but we kind of like it better done up in black and white—all the more striking, don't you think? (CyanaTrendLand)
