"Twilight: The Musical" Comes To NYC. Will It Suck?

In the world of musical theatre, when words are not enough, in comes that four-bar intro and climactic arrangement. And since things don't get much more melodramatic than a vampire in love with a mortal, Twilight is coming to the stage. This month, expect Twihards to flock to NYC for the first-ever Twilight: The Musical. From the funny folks who parodied the Harry Potter series (thank us later if you haven't already seen it), comes the satirical and likely ballad-and dance-packed performance of the book trilogy that's made teenage girls obsessed with dating an immortal.
There are a few things you can expect from the performance on January 16, including misplaced literary characters by the name of Harry Potter and Hermione Granger. There are also a few things we hope to expect (however, we have no confirmation on) including a new It couple of Harry Potter and Leah Clearwater, a dream sequence spurred by Bella accidentally taking a whiff of Hermoine's magical smelling salts, and a severe glitter malfunction when Edward steps into the spot light. We'll be looking for where to buy tickets ASAP for the one-night-only extravaganza that will benefit Blessings in a Backpack. (CNN)
