For our edification, the CFDA and Assouline have joined forces for a new book, American Fashion Menswear, which celebrates and chronicles the menswear movement from cavemen to counterculture. Written by fashion historian and journalist Robert Bryan the book reflects on historical themes such as war and technology, and their impact on the world of fashion. Its pages are populated by a host of handsome men that range from the lithe Mick Jagger to the All-American JFK.
