Once a year, vinyl lovers across Chicago converge in the West Loop to dig for gold. The Chirp Record Fair, sponsored by Chirp Radio, will go down this Saturday April 9 and Sunday April 10 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and admission is $7. We think that's a small price to pay for the chance to take your record collection from cool to covetable by searching through thousands (and thousands!) of records all under one roof. Skeptical? Last year this editor scored a Buddy Holly record in pristine condition to prove that this fair is the real deal.
