Even though Steven Alan (the guy, not the store) doesn't look a day over 12, the legendary downtown proprietor toasted 15 years of retail bliss last night with a party packed with all his nearest and dearest (including an adorable Michelle Trachtenberg). All evening, pretty people were spilling in and out of Alan's Tribeca flagship, swilling boozy pineapple cocktails and chasing after trays of mac 'n cheese and red velvet cupcakes. But despite the delicious refreshments (and great '80s sounds), we were all there to pay homage to Alan and his ever-growing fashion empire. Are we super excited about getting a peek at his new namesake collection, debuting next week? Hell, yes! Stay tuned for a short film devoted to the collection as well.
