We knew Shumaq’s future was bright as soon as we heard Chloë Sevigny was seen wearing an ivory lace dress from the collection. And now, as of two weeks ago, the Miami-based clothing brand is available at Urban Outfitters. Way to go, ladies! The chain store picked up three dresses from sister duo Vanessa and Jacqueline Barrantes’ feminine collection: the striped oversized chiffon T-shirt dress (which is not available on Shumaq’s web site) and the bell sleeve lace shift dress (the one Sevigny wore) in both black and white. Available online and at all three Miami Urban Outfitters, Shumaq’s pieces will join other local creatives like Valentina Ramos, whose whimsical paintings have been top-rated on the site for quite some time.
