clean, refreshing start to your week. But, that doesn’t mean you have to beeline for another boring lunch salad. Known for its delicious
plant-based menu (you haven’t lived until you’ve had the beet burger!), San Francisco health-scene staple Seed + Salt has given us a super-easy recipe for a nutrient-packed drink that will make you feel like a million bucks. Bottoms up!
Serves 1 Ingredients
1 medium Fuji apple, sliced with core removed
1/4 cucumber, peeled or thoroughly washed, cut into large cubes
2 to 3 leaves kale, thick stems removed
2 to 3 leaves romaine
Thin slice of fresh ginger
A few sprigs parsley
A few mint leaves
Squeeze of half a lemon, or to taste
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup ice Instructions
1. Thoroughly clean your vegetables. 2. Add prepped ingredients to blender and blend on high for 30 seconds. 3. Pour into glass and drink immediately.
