This past Saturday, our good friend and Archetype Showroom owner Audrey Gingras threw an engagement party at The Gates, that "Members Only" club on 8th avenue you might have read about. The dress code was "Art Deco," which meant partygoers turned up in flapper dresses, Great Gatsby-era suits, sequined minis, strings of pearls, and dapper tuxes. Erin Fetherston, Josh Madden, Jeff Halmos, Sam Shipley, and the whole lovely Archetype team all turned out to celebrate with Audrey and fiance Ryder as Dave Pacho from Surface to Air played everything from Frank Sinatra to Billie Holiday to, well, The Ting Tings. And our first report from inside The Gates, what with its gilded bar and roaring fireplace and cute male model busboys? Positive. But the open bar might've had something to do with that.
