OMG Ungaro! Esteban Cortazar Kills It For Fall

Sugary skirts, delicate bandage wraps of polka dots, fuchsia legs…there was so much joy and playful decadence at Emanuel Ungaro, you couldn't help but be happy and revitalized just looking at it. This was designer Esteban Cortazar's third collection for one of our favorite old-school labels, and it kind of made us wonder if this could be the collection we'll all be obsessing over in the coming months. There was no shortage of sexy little party dresses, and all that leg got just the right touch of refinement with some beautifully structured knit jackets and classic go-anywhere blazers. We could have done without some of the gratuitous ruffles as they just seemed to complicate the stronger themes of vibrant color, pattern, and proportion, those glorious hallmarks of the house.
