Perfect Casting: Nicole Richie Fronts Her Own Campaign For Macy’s Collab

Nicole Richie has come so far since her Simple Life days. It's hard to believe the sophisticated, successful businesswoman is the same person we once watched run around on a farm with Paris Hilton. On top of her Winter Kate and House Of Harlow ventures, she's putting pen to paper again and designing a collection for Macy's Impulse line, available in stores this fall.
Here, we get a glimpse of what fashions to come in a campaign ad. We understand that as a designer, getting the right shot can be the ultimate make or break. So, making sure she gets it just right, she's cast none other than herself in the campaign. A good way to rid any potential diva demands, that's for sure. Check out her truly sultry look.

Speaking of the collection, Richie says, "I worked extremely hard with Macy's to create a collection that stayed true to my own aesthetic, so representing my designs in the advertising campaign was a welcome opportunity." Shot by Camilla Akrans in L.A.'s Milk Studios, the girl looks better than ever. A mother of two and a string of difficulties later, she's still got "it" as she stares into the camera with not a wrinkle or a flaw in sight (though perhaps a spot of Photoshop). Slight self-idolism, maybe, but successful all the same and giving us just a tease of the collection — tribal prints and sheeny sleeves, we like. We're giving it a thumbs-up.
