These Long Island Parents Didn’t Realize Les Mis Was Sad (LOL)

Sometimes all you need is a good cry. The Notebook, A Walk To Remember, Toy Story 3 — each tearjerker had us sobbing in the best way possible. But, have you ever left a movie theater and felt completely down in the dumps? That's got to be one misérable film, wouldn't you say?
Hilariously Sadly, one Long Island family recently ended its afternoon trip to Tom Hooper's Les Misérables overwhelmed by emotion. More specifically, Mama and Papa Ferguson were caught bawling their eyes out while their children, Ryan and Kevin watched filmed happily. Ever immortalized are Mr. Ferguson's words, "We've been to funerals less upsetting" and Mrs. Ferguson's response to the question, "What was your saddest part, do you think?" ("At the end, his eyes. He was old.")

Now sure, we all shed a tear or two when Fantine's time was over, but we considered ourselves more than slightly prepared for the characters' collective impending doom. Unfortunately for the Fergusons, their surprise will live on in internet infamy. (Gawker)
