When it comes to our beauty routine, there's not always time for brushes and the bright lights of magnifying lenses. What we love most (and there are so many things, you'll see) about Danish beauty brand Kjaer Weis' cream blush is that all it takes is a quick swipe of a finger to get you all glowy. But that's the only thing about the easy, breezy cosmetic that feels wham-bam-thank-you-ma'am.
Let's start with the fact that it's certified organic (which is no simple process), and too many beauty brands stake that claim without real street cred. Kjaer has been on sets in the biz for more than 15 years working as a makeup artist for Harper's Bazaar, Vogue, and Elle, which perhaps helped her conjure up the most aesthetically pleasing packaging of makeup we've ever feasted our eyes upon. Each piece comes in a red Hermès-esque chic little box, which then opens up to a sleek silver Lamborghini-style sliding compact. But wait, it gets even better! The weighty Weis' are re-fillable for those of you who care to reduce, reuse, recycle, and save some dough. You can currently find KJ's amazingness at Ron Robinson at Fred Segal, and soon at the Woodley and Bunny store, opening on West 3rd Street (more on that on Monday).
Kjaer Weis Cream Blush in Lovely, $54 for compact plus cream blush, $26 for the refill, available at Ron Robinson at Fred Segal.
