Jennifer Lawrence Goes For The Gold At The Hunger Games Premiere

Katniss Everdeen Jennifer Lawrence's get-up at last night's premiere of The Hunger Games was akin to the moment her character appears on stage in Panem, but instead of flames, she lit up the capital (of movies, at least) in molten gold. Prabal Gurung — who, more and more, is becoming a red carpet staple — is to thank for this smokin' look.

The word on the street is that the designer worked with Jennifer on customizing a frock that would certainly take home the district title...at least in the style stakes. With sexy cut-outs, a train, and a leg-slit that, thankfully, wasn't subject to the Angelina leg syndrome, the starlet proves why she's fast becoming a fashion icon (sorry, Stacy Keibler, this is how to wear gold). We're beyond thrilled to see someone finally taking red carpet risks again! It's killer, but not, you know, in the killing other tributes sort of way.
