Picking a paint color is much like trying to find a signature scent. It can feel close to impossible. There are too many variations and too few walls to paint — and it's tough to settle on just one. Light eggshell is just so different from mild eggshell, no? Fortunately, Apartment Therapy cut out some of the hard work and shared the three color trends sweeping homes this year. It's all about extremes — rich-hued orchid (shade of the year!), deep-sea blues, and stark, clean neutrals.
