6 Hipsters You Might Find In Brooklyn

Did you know there are hipsters in Brooklyn? (It's true, just ask the NYT.) But to aesthetically lump all young, alternative, creatively minded people in one flannel-clad, bearded category is totes unfair. The hipster rainbow contains more hues than chambray and plaid, and while the general community all might enjoy a good skinny jean and cold-brewed coffee, there are definitely distinct clans.
Speaking from a largely Brooklyn-dwelling staff, we've done a little self survey on the types of hipsters that make up the borough in the form of charming, hand-drawn illustrations by designer David Galletly.
