After spending 20 minutes squeezing into a barely-breathable bandage dress, you'd think the rest of the night would be smooth-sailing. But when we arrived at the Cipriani Club on Wall Street, the security was even tighter than the shrunken minis we spotted that night. Hundreds of designers, stylists, and celebs (including a few A-listers) turned up at the G-Shock Press Conference, most making an appearance to see King Kanye. Spotted amidst the fray was Russell Simmons in a summery suit, Ashanti wearing a black fringe leather top, high ponytail, and bleached skinnies, and Erykah Badu in a mysterious head-to-toe black get-up, complete with a foot-tall top hat. When Kanye finally made it to the stage an hour and a half late (covered in a mask and hood, so it was worth it), we noticed sidekick Amber Rose dancing on the sidelines in a black corset dress and leggings (no judgement....). During the performance, a fight broke out, and the crowd parted in less than 30 seconds. Guess it wouldn't be a Kanye show without some drama, right?
